For the last 6 years, I have been a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Neuroscience and
Brain Technologies at the Italian Institute of Technology, working under the supervision of Prof. Raul
R Gainetdinov. My experience and interest in this field have urged me to send this letter and I feel
my credential will rightly match your requirements. I have strong scientific and pharmaceutical
knowledge and experience; strong planning and written/verbal communication skills, marked ability
to learn and effectively convey clinical and non-clinical technical information and ability to develop
and maintain strong relationships.
As my CV reflects, my efficiency to achieve scientific goals and my passion and experience in
neurobiology is supported by the fact that my Ph.D. work resulted in a total of 10 publications, and
27 since then, most of them in leading journals of the field.
I have always been able to manage many project as the same time as demonstrated by my list of
publication and, as well, to improve my knowledge and my skills by acquiring new point of view,
from the molecular biology and the developmental neurosciences, to the electrochemistry and
pharmacology studies.
During my almost 10 years of research career, I also had the opportunity to supervise many
graduate and PhD students so I am able to train and supervise laboratory fellows and technicians
and I am familiar with grant preparation.
